Rows of Antique Sunflowers

My trusty camera's battery was dying and I forgot to bring my charger. Iva's campus is in this town - but she lives a few towns over - and I am just so jealous. In a hurry, I asked Iva to take my outfit pictures. There were some cornfields near where we were staying and I was dying with the desire to take pictures in them every time we drove past them. Taking pictures in the fields is a different matter, though. - and snap some shots there. Edwin took the group photos and pictures of the town. During our stay at Iva's place, babysitting the pug and cat, we stole one whole day to explore. Instead, we took the bus and arrived at rows and rows of plantations. So glad we managed to find other fields of plants - and sunflowers, no less. Esslingen is a small, antique town. Can I just say how euphoric I was to stumble upon sunflower fields. It is t ruly a beautiful town. There were various types of plants, starting from sunflowers and grapes to apples and pears. The buildings all over it are very beautiful and old, in various colours and styles. We went to Esslingen and Stuttgart.

Why does my computer dont charge when plugged in?

I been trying to figure put why my laptob doesnt charge any help please

A bit more analysis will help determine the exact source of the problem: take the battery out> plug in the charger (wall & computer)> turn on the system: if it starts up, then your battery is dead, need to replace. If the computer will not start up, then it's the charger; replace that. First, verify the wall socket is not the problem (that can happen also). Take the charger to a known working wall outlet and plug that in, then verify each cord section is firmly seated to the next component...see what happens. Laptops are subjected to plenty of hard use, & one item that often gets damaged is the charger (or adapter) cord, @ the "barrel" connector end. The constant bending, plug & un-plug actions, and other stresses, causes the copper wires inside the cord to become "work hardened", rendering them brittle and eventually snapping, which ends power to the lapper. (This is identical to tin can lid removal--bending the lid back and forth to break that last bit of metal). Another condition develops when the barrel terminal is stressed in any fashion contrary to the normal straight in/out force (when you 'plug in' the charger). This can deform either the barrel plug, or the female socket inside the lapper. That interrupts contact surface area and leads to power failure. The plug end can be 'jury-rigged' sometimes, but unless you know what your doing, I'd say buy a new one. The female socket inside the lapper is not something rookies can change and a reliable service should be sought out to do this repair. After you get this issue resolved: For new units, and replacement chargers, one thing I do right away is reinforce the cable-to-barrel connector end (where it plugs into the lapper). The idea is to make them less flexible & can be done with a semi-flexible, heavy tape (like cloth athletic or electrician's

Five stars for a great battery case that tested with very good results!

Customer Video Review Length:: 6:29 MinsI have reviewed many battery cases for iPhone 5S phones. A superior battery in every way you can compare it!

Customer Video Review Length:: 6:10 MinsThis battery pack is beautifully packaged with a black rubberized coated case. The black rubber coating is slightly textured so it is not a fingerprint magnet and it improves the looks of the case and your grip. It is a powerful battery pack rated at 6000 mAh of capacity and the test results were spectacular! I put together a video of the unit and the test results for your review. The battery weighs in at 4 3/4 ounces. The battery pack has one USB output port that outputs 5 VDC at 2 Amps. It is a smart USB port whose output current will never exceed the capacity of your smart device's current charging capability. The battery is extremely energy efficient and its performance is 10 percent or more above the standard performance of a normal designed external battery. This is because of the superior quality of the battery cells used and the advanced control circuitry within the battery.During the testing the temperature of the battery... 5/5 jjceo (Greenwood, Indiana) - See all my reviews, October 22, 2013

Super compact design, high charging speed, super value!!!

After rolling out new 2nd generation versions of Astro 3 (3 outputs) and Astro 2 (2 outputs), now is a turn for Astro with a single charging output. While Astro 3 was very impressive with three outputs and 12000 mAh capacity, it was a relatively large and heavy device, which is expected. Astro 2 shrunk it down to 2 outputs and 9000 mAh capacity with a more pocket friendly footprint. Here with single output Astro and 6000 mAh capacity the size was reduced down to an awesome compact size which you can store even inside of a very small purse. But don't let the small size fool you - you still get all new 2nd gen design with every bell'n'whistle of Astro 2 and 3. So let's take a closer look.Continuing with their environmentally friendly packaging, battery came inside of a neatly packaged box which contained a battery itself, a manual (always very detailed), and accessory box with usb to micro-usb cable and a mesh draw-string storage bag for a battery and a cable. Nice battery pack, works as advertised. But USB cable housing came off after a week.

I bought this battery pack from prime with two day shipping. Th battery pack looks gorgeous and it feels nice and rigid. doesn't feel cheap at all. I bought this for my Samsung GS4 which has a 2600 mA battery. having 6000 mA on the battery, I can charge my phone from around 5 % to 100% using around 60 % of the battery pack. The shake to check works really well however, I use this battery pack a lot on the go around college and I noticed that every time I walk the battery will detect that it is shaken and it will light up every time I walk. I'm not sure how much energy is consumed every time it lights up but it didn't seem like it consume too much. I would like to see a physical button instead of a shake because it annoys me to know that it lights up every time I walk. After a week of usage, the usb cable's plastic housing came off. Slick Looking External Power for Every Mobile Need

Since Anker gave me this product in exchange for my honest feedback and review, I decided to take the Astro E4 power bank through its paces to see how it performs. The power bank itself has a smooth, black plastic shells and is quite elegant-looking with its chrome button and silver-colored frame. The unit has 4 bright, blue LED lights that reveals roughly how much battery life is left. The Astro E4 is somewhat heavy, but it is expect of a power bank of this large a capacity; the best way I could describe it is probably holding 2-3 rolls of quarters in your hand (not bad, right?). Tips for the Non-Techies

I love this charger but here are some tips for those who aren't techies...#1: This does not come with a wall charger - BUT - if you have an iPad or similar device with a USB port, that will work just fine. Save the 10 bucks and don't buy one separately.#2: You must push the power button to charge. I know, I know, it seems like a no brainer but I don't have to push a power button on my wall plug so it doesn't come naturally to me to think to push a power button to charge something.#3: To re-charge the Anker, you plug the connector into the small port on the side labeled 'In'. I felt like an idiot for thinking I should plug into the USB slots in the front to re-charge the Anker but hey, the 'In' and 'Out' are the same slot on my iPad so why would I look for an 'In' and an 'Out' on the Anker?#4: The Anker comes pre-charged... mostly. I ordered this rush for a trip and didn't have time to charge it before I left. It powered my iPad to 74% straight out of... 4/5 R. J. Atkinson (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews, August 31, 2013

    Wow, what powerful battery!

Customer Video Review Length:: 7:43 MinsThis review is on Anker 15000 mAh black battery pack. This battery pack is a real powerhouse of energy and in my test results it performed extremely well in supplying a charging current to an iPad 3 and an iPad 2. It is also designed to allow you to charge two items at the same time. I also tested the battery pack charging and iPad 3 and an iPhone 4 simultaneously. It comes with connectors and other accessories that you need to make it more useful. I was also able to charge the battery and charge two devices at the same time using the battery while it was charging. (This is not recommended to do) You may need to use your original charging cables for some devices so take them with you if you need them.It is a great power resource to keep your USB recharged devices operating on those long work or school days or while you are traveling. This battery pack is a powerful source of power and many people like me are power users of their smart phones and... 5/5 jjceo (Greenwood, Indiana) - See all my reviews, July 10, 2013

    Amazing Technology, long lasting charge!

First I will state that Anker sent me this product to review for my honest personal opinion on the product.I received the Anker Astro E5 in the mail just in time for a scheduled meetup with Ingress friends. For those of you not familiar with this, it is an Android phone based game that combines augmented reality and geocaching. The game is VERY HEAVY on battery usage on the Samsung GS2. During these meetups, I usually end up switching a battery out or leaching off of someone elses battery pack. So when Anker offered this to me for testing, I was all over it.The pack came precharged about half way. As soon as I got it, I put it on to charge and it was fully charged within the 4 hour timeframe prior to the meetup. The device is charged using a micro USB port on the side. It did not come with a wall charger, which I found somewhat weird. What if I didn't have a USB option to charge it with? Ultra-high density battery cells make this the world's most compact 15000mAh external battery. Use a 5V / 1.5A adapter (not included) for fastest charging (9-10 hours).
Smooth, ivory varnish allows you to power up in style, while 4 status LEDs keep you informed of remaining capacity. Built-in flashlight for dark or low-light environments.
Monster capacity (15000mAh) charges the iPhone almost 7 times, large-capacity phones like the Galaxy S4 4 times or almost a full charge to an iPad 3 / 4. In terms of power, this is the biggest, baddest battery in the Anker® mobile line.
Package contents: Anker® Astro E5 External Battery, Micro USB cable, travel pouch, instruction manual.
Super-fast charge output (5V / 3A total) through dual USB ports (5V / 2A and 5V / 1A) allow for simultaneous charging of your iPad, iPhone, Android, and more at high speed.

There seems to be a lot of gnashing of teeth as far as reviews go for this product, so much so that I almost didn't order it, therefore I thought I'd throw my two cents in.I'm not "verified" and I don't have any connection with this company, but I do use reviews to help me purchase a variety of products on Amazon. Also, I'm a longtime Mophie user on my older iPhones so I'm very familiar with this concept. Personally I'm glad the Mophie folks dropped the ball and didn't have an iPhone 5 product ready for me to buy as I like this design better. My first impressions so far after day one...nicely packaged like an Apple product, the unit itself is well constructed and works exactly as advertised. I really like the design concept. The case that remains on the phone has a very nice finish that has a bit of "tack" to it so it doesn't slide when it's placed on a slick surface. When you have a long day or need a charge, simply slide the battery on and charge... 5/5 John - See all my reviews This review is from: Maxboost iPhone 5S Case / iPhone 5 Case [Fusion Snap-On Case Series - SF Matte Black] Premium Coated Protective Hard Case for iPhone 5S / iPhone 5 (Fits All Versions of iPhone 5S & iPhone 5, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint) (Wireless Phone Accessory) There seems to be a lot of gnashing of teeth as far as reviews go for this product, so much so that I almost didn't order it, therefore I thought I'd throw my two cents in.I'm not "verified" and I don't have any connection with this company, but I do use reviews to help me purchase a variety of products on Amazon. Also, I'm a longtime Mophie user on my older iPhones so I'm very familiar with this concept. Case worked in iOS6, but no longer works in iOS7

The worst thing is I cannot return it as it's been out for too long. This review is from: Battery Tender 081-0148-25 25' Quick Disconnect Extension Cable (Automotive) The reason for purchasing this item is obvious. The built in protective caps for the ends are a nice touch. It would be great if they would include an attached chord keeper or cable tie, as I don't need the entire 25' length most of the time. I can see no difference in effectiveness of the charger whether this extension is inserted between the charger and the leads to the battery, or not. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 12, 2009

A versatile and powerful 14400 mAh battery pack for your smart devices and featuring the quality of Anker!

Customer Video Review Length:: 5:38 MinsThis review is on the upgraded version Anker Astro Pro rated at 14400 mAh capacity. This battery pack is very powerful and in my test results it performed well in supplying a charging current to an iPad 3 and an iPhone 4. It is also designed to allow you to charge a netbook laptop or a small laptop that charges with 9 VDC or 12 VDC at 2 Amps.It is a good power resource to keep your USB recharged devices operating on those long work days or while you are traveling. Many people like me are power users of their smart phones and tablets. If you are constantly using them then you know that they will run out of power sometime during the day or evening. If you are not near an AC wall outlet with your charger or in your car with a charger what can you do? Especially if you are traveling in a plane, bus or train. In addition many of the newer tablets are real power hungry devices and it takes a lot to recharge them. Here is a powerful... 5/5 jjceo (Greenwood, Indiana) - See all my reviews, May 19, 2013

Great backup for charging when your normal means are not available.

Admit it, there has been times when you have not had easy access to a wall outlet or 12V to charge your cellphone, iPad or other electronic gadgets. It just happened to me just recently on a long trip that took almost over 18 traveling time (car, planes, lay-overs). I was shocked when the planes did not have USB or 12V chargers in any of the aisles (US Airways). This is when the Anker Astro 3 10000mAh came in handy to charge my iPad since one of the flights was 4 hours long and my iPad battery died and I was not aware of it. Keep in mind the iPad will take longer to charge than a cellphone, so after a couple of hours it was only about 45% charged but that was enough for me to use the iPad for the rest of the flight. When it comes to charging my iPhone, it will charge it to 100% full charge in about half the time. The iPad requires at least 2000mA, and devices such as iPhones and iPods require 500mA. Since those particular devices do not have the capabilities of swapping out batteries,... 4/5 Zulma Johnson (New York) - See all my reviews, April 16, 2012

External battery that works with the Galaxy Note 10.1

0 5/5 LP Texas (Dallas, TX) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Anker® 2nd Gen Astro Pro2 20000mAh 4-Port Aluminum Portable External Battery Charger with 9V/12V Multi-Voltage Port and PowerIQ™ Technology for iPad Air mini, iPhone 5s 5c 5; Galaxy S5 S4, Tab 2, Note, Nexus, MOTO X, G, LG Optimus, HTC One and More (Electronics) Great product. I had a difficult time finding an external battery that didn't cause a red x appears over the battery icon on the Galaxy Note 10.1. With other external batteries I was able to resolve the issue with an adaptor, but it's great not having to worry about one extra peripheral adaptor. Anker's USB output S, (which stands for Samsung), with circuitry designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab worked perfectly! Hope this helps other Note 10.1 users! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 27, 2013
Three smart charging ports, powered by PowerIQ™ technology, intelligently identify each connected device and speak its language - guaranteeing the fastest charge time for EVERY device. Additional 9V or 12V port (Max speed of 4.5 Amps among 4 ports).
Aluminum construction withstands drops and bumps; slim profile easily slips in your bag. LCD screen accurately displays power level, charging status and voltage selection.
    Package includes: Anker® 2nd Gen Astro Pro2 20000mAh External Battery, 110 - 240V AC charger, micro USB cable, 4.3 x 1.6mm to 5.5 x 2.5mm multi-voltage cable, user manual. (Apple adapters - 30 pin and lightning, Samsung 30 pin adapter, not included)
Ultra-high 20000mAh capacity charges an iPhone ten times, a large-capacity phone like the Galaxy S4 six times and tablets several times.
Energy efficiency rate 10% higher than the previous generation and many current standard alternatives adds additional usable power. Included 110-240V AC adapter recharges the battery in just 4-5 hours.

This review is from: iPhone 5 - Pattern Elephant Turquoise Background (iPhone 5 White Rubber Case) (Hardcover) Although I am not in love with the new case, the seller was very respectful about resolving my issue. I still feel as though the product needs to be explained in more detail to let others know exactly what to expect such as the bar code is not able to be peeled off.... not even sure what the point is of the bar code..... (it ruins the elegance of the elephant). But overall the seller is professional and willing to work with you to make you a happy buyer, and for that, I thank them =) 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 16, 2014
