About this book
After the traumatic death struggle with her former husband, all Leas wanted was to run away and live the care free life she dreamed of somewhere on a beach in the Caribbean. This stunningly beautiful woman just wanted to put the past behind her and begin fresh with no responsibility or strings attached. Her desire seemed to be possible as she lay on the white sands of Playa Del Sol in Venezuela. At first, the steamy romance she had found there on the beach with the handsome and very talented executive from Chicago seemed to fit her care free lifestyle. Allen would fly down to see her frequently and then return to his mysterious business world. Eventually, however, Leas succumbed to Allen's increasingly demanding invitations for her to join him in Chicago. A move that at first seemed to be right but turned into a nightmare when her ex-husband came looking for her with revenge in mind. Leas didn't want to know the details of Allen's business and Allen's limited willingness to discuss it with her was not a concern. She had no idea that Allen had orchestrated the theft of a top secret technical document providing the blue print for a communications satellite that would revolutionize the world of communications and corporate espionage. However the investigation by the FBI into Allen's ability to develop the highly classified communications technology for the commercial market place soon collide with Leas' attempts to evade her blood thirsty pursuer. The persistence of the FBI's top investigator mixes the world of corporate corruption and greed with the pursuit of a deranged killer. Utilizing an unusual alliance with an investigative reporter, the determined FBI agent uncovers the truthbehind the Quantum Project but leads Leas' pursuer to her doorstep.

Tip for those who complain of short range

0 5/5 EPS (West Columbia, SC) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker Transmitter Universal Garage Door Remote Control (Tools & Home Improvement) I got mine set up fairly quickly. Didn't work the first time, so I reversed all the switches on the opener and did it again, and that did the trick. But I then found the range to be very short - less than 10 feet - no good! But what I also found was that I was expecting to press the button 16 times for a Stanley opener, yet 14 did the trick (i.e. the door was activated on the 14th press.) 14 is for a multicode (I take that to mean generic.) So I programmed it again, but this time did the full 16 presses, and now my range is very good - along the lines of 100 feet. Also, if you're curious (I was) - how does it control 2 doors with only 1 set of DIP switches? It remembers the settings during activation. So you set it to match one door, do the programming step, then set it to match the switches on your second door and do the programming step for it. Great unit and highly recommend! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 22, 2010

    Wow! Am I happy!

My Genie opener was installed in 1990, and I had dropped the remote for what turned out to be the last time. I had searched and found out that model remote was no longer made. I took a chance and ordered the Clicker. When the Clicker arrived, I found the reference to my unit. I knew about the DIP switches inside my existing remote, and the Clicker instructions told me to program the DIP switches inside the Clicker just the same. (This is only true for specific models of openers, remotes and year installed - others use the programming button on the receiver). I followed the clear directions: they seemed a bit odd, but I followed them exactly (17 clicks) and voila! ~ the garage door opened! I programmed the other door as well, and now I have one compact remote to open both doors. I cannot believe it took me so long to find the solution, and it took less than five minutes to program the two doors. Wow! Am I happy! The instructions are clear and detailed, and you just need to... 5/5 KBSt "KBSt" (San Francisco, CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker Transmitter Universal Garage Door Remote Control (Tools & Home Improvement) My Genie opener was installed in 1990, and I had dropped the remote for what turned out to be the last time. best thing since sliced bread (well, almost;))!!!

I was very disappointed to discover that my brand-new 2011 model year vehicle did not come with any kind of garage door opener/homelink option. In looking for a garage door remote, I had purchased another Chamberlain remote that worked well but I didn't like the idea of keeping a remote "loose" in my car (too easy for thieves to break in steal it while getting my address from my insurance and/or registration cards). I liked the idea of a keychain remote but it seemed like none of them were capable of controlling more than one kind of a garage door at a time. I called Chamberlain to ask them if they had any keychain remotes that could control more than one type of garage door and they recommended the 956EV. Boy, am I glad they did - this thing is great!!!!It's a tiny remote (almost identical in size to my key fob but lighter) and it can control 3 different doors. Easy Setup, Good Range, Works Great

We normally use our garage door as our main entrance, and we were looking for a smaller alternative to our remotes. This 956EV remote is not as small as I thought it would be but is close enough to fit in your pocket. It has three different buttons that you can set them for three different doors, like office and residential, or you can just set all keys for the same door. If you have been in the market for one of these remotes, you already know that there are compatibility issues regarding which frequencies to choose. Fortunately, this particular 956EV model is new and universal. It means it should operate on both 315 MHz and 390 MHz units, and you have one less thing to worry about. The whole setup is easy, and it takes only 10 minutes or less. Works well

I have had it about 3 months. I tried programming it without reading and thought it didn't work until I read the instructions. Ha ha. There's a little button you must push with a paper clip, well, read and really follow the instructions. I bought it for a new Chamberlain opener, used to have a Craftsman, and on reflection the extra steps in programming are worth it so it doesn't accidentally lose the setting. Twice my Craftsman banging around in my pocket or purse caused the remote to lose its code. This one never will. I wish these folks would make a one-button remote as tiny as possible--all we want is small and 1 opener. Who the heck has 3 garages and why do their needs matter more than mine. Even families with double doors stick the same car in the same bay all the time. But this is as small as it gets, it has great range--I can open the door from the mailbox and I couldn't with my other remote. I docked it a star because I'm reserving 5 stars for the 1-button remote... 4/5 Toolmaker (Boston MA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Much better than the old tennis ball on a string

These are fairly easy to install.Lessons learned: 1) I chose to have the light beam in on the dashboard. In this case it is important to install the laser(s) in a position so that they beam the light into the windshield at a 90 degree angle (or thereabouts). If they are installed at a 45 degree angle relative to the surface of the windshield, much of the light will be refracted and bounce off, thereby diminishing the intensity of light inside the cab. 2) There are two wires connected to the laser(s), just like the safety sensors. It is necessary to use a wire nut to connect the sensors and lasers together along with an additional single lead that inserts into the opener.I was in a hurry when I first installed these and made the mistake of positioning the laser units at a bad angle relative to the windshield. I was disappointed in the result. Inexpensive, easy to install, but too dim

When the unit arrived, I quickly unpacked it. It was very lightweight (which is a good thing as it provides just one screw to attach it to the ceiling), but the attached wire is too short (about 8 feet long so I had to extend it with some left over wire I had from the opener install). After installing it, it was time to aim it. The laser is mounted to the base with a friction mount and aiming can be a chore. I'll have to wait and see if this thing maintains its aim over time. But my biggest complaint is that the laser isn't bright enough. Unless your garage is really dark, you won't be able to see the laser dot. Works well at night, but if there's any sunlight at all coming in your garage, you simply won't be able to see the dot at all.Having said that, there are some nice features to this unit. Product useless out of box, requires minor modification to work correctly.

I just bought a new car that is a good three feet longer than the one it replaced, so it was taking me a few tries to park it properly in my garage. I figured these days there must be a better solution than the old "tennis ball on a string," and logged onto Amazon to look. I installed a new Chamberlain Whisperdrive opener a few years ago (great product, BTW) so I was happy to see that they made this laser unit and at a cheap price as well.Amazon did their usual amazing job of getting it to me the day after I ordered, so I installed it that very night. Now I had seen other reviews complaining that the laser was too dim, but I assumed they were exaggerating...how dim could it be? I kept looking for the dot on my floor but couldn't find it, so I started waving a piece of paper under the unit at shoulder height, trying to pick up the elusive red dot. Nothing! Finally I climbed back up on my ladder, and if I held my hand about a foot under the unit I could JUST BARELY see a... 3/5 Reverend L.S. Goodwin "Reverend L.S. Some additional details on this product

I installed 2 of these units in my garage and am reasonably satisfied with them. My biggest complaint is that the laser dot should be brighter. When entering the garage on a bright summer day it is difficult to see the dot. One of my cars is silver and the other is dark gray. I can't see the dot until it hits my dash which is black in both cars. The installation was extremely straightforward since the units were attached to a Chamberlain system. One potential "gotcha" is that the wiring that comes with the unit is too short for most garages. You will likely need to buy some additional two conductor wire and spice it to the end of the existing wire. These units can be used with non-Chamberlain systems or for that matter in a garage without any opener system. Each unit is supplied with a plug in the wall AC adaptor. With the unit attached to the adaptor, the laser stays on all the time. Obviously, I can't comment about how long the unit would last when set... 3/5 R. Zimmermann (Illinois) - See all my reviews, May 25, 2009

    Worth The Effort

We added these to a Genie screw driver opener, but really if you don't have a Champerlain opener with the dedicated input for these laser lights then all installs will be the same. Your objectives is to:a. Mount each light on the ceiling with a single screw. We mounted two lights because we had two parking spaces in our garage.b. Run the wires to the garage door opener control head. We chose to run the wire up through the ceiling and into the crawl space above, and then drill a single 1/4 hole above the door opener and drop them down to the opener through this hole. If you drill the holes at the light end, where the middle of the light will be when mounted, then the wires won't show. A much cleaner installation for very little extra effort.c. Attach the wires to one of your openers bulb socket so the laser lights go on/off with the garage door opener when you open/close the door, and off when the lights automatically turn off. This review is from: Chamberlain CLULP1 Universal Laser Garage Parking Assist (Electronics) We added these to a Genie screw driver opener, but really if you don't have a Champerlain opener with the dedicated input for these laser lights then all installs will be the same. Your objectives is to:a. Mount each light on the ceiling with a single screw. We mounted two lights because we had two parking spaces in our garage.b. Takes 5 minutes to install

Don't use those annoying looking "tennis balls" hanging from the ceiling! get this laser parking assist to give your garage that clean sleek look it used to have.I bought this and installed it on my Chamberlain 3/4 HP Whisper Drive in about 5 minutes. It comes with wires and a power plug. If you are using this with a Chamberlain, you will not need to connect the power plug. All you do is connect 2 wires onto the quick connect plugs on the garage opener that control the safety sensor and that's it.When you open the garage door, and walk pass the eyes, the laser comes on. The laser shuts off after awhile but once you walk pass the sensors again, the laser comes on. This is perfect if you leave your garage door open, leave and come back. It will trigger the laser no matter what goes through the garage. The light pulsates and you point and adjust it to where you want it to beam. I wish it was brighter, but it works.Easy to install,... 5/5 Dat Hong (Phila, PA) - See all my reviews, November 19, 2009

0 5/5 HI Roller "Gadget Lover" (TX USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: MAXSA Innovations 37310 Park Right Garage Laser Park, Single Laser (Automotive) After reading the other reviews, I had to speak up. I've tried it all: the garage bump, the stop light type system, etc. You mount this unit on the ceiling and point it to a specific point on your car so you know where to stop. In my case, I point it at the dash. When I enter the garage, the laser turns on and because the laser is very bright, you can follow it as it tracks along your hood. If you set it up right, this helps you set the distance between your cars or the side garage wall. For example, you can set it to run only the seam of your hood or the middle crease if you have one. Then when it reachs the dash, I watch for it to land in a specific area and stop. A successful park, usually with only an inch or two variance. It so rocks! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 8, 2006

    Works Well

I have tried the wall mount parking systems and was not happy with the way they worked. I want my car parked so the rear bumper just clears the garage door, so I thought I would try this laser indicator. The laser projects a very visible, bright red dot that I have aligned to the edge of my dash. It doesn't get any easier then that. Pull the car into the garage until the dot is at the edge of the dash and your in.Installation is very easy - figure out where you want it on the ceiling and install 3 small screws. Keep in mind when you pick your location that you would normally plug the AC adapter into the same outlet you plug your garage door opener into. There should be plenty of cord with the adapter for most peooleI found that when I was out walking around in my garage, the built in motion detector would activate the laser, even if I was in front of my car. I didn't like the idea of having the laser on when it didn't really need to be on. So, I... 4/5 J. Hudson (Southern California) - See all my reviews, March 1, 2009

Accurate laser aim but "ON" time is too short

0 2/5 Cdn Snow Bird "Snow Bird" (Toronto, Canada) - See all my reviews This review is from: MAXSA Innovations 37312 Park Right Garage Laser Park, Dual Lasers (Automotive) The Maxsa Laser Park is a simple motion activated laser pointer that help you position your car accurately in the garage. The installation and set up is very simple. Once setup, the red laser dot aims accurately at the same spot every time. The only trouble I have is that the "ON" is too short - 14 sec. It times out by the time the garage door is open and I pull up almost the right position. I have to lower the window and wave my arm outside to re-activate the laser. Manufacturer offers no help to fix this issue for me. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 7, 2006
